We went on an excursion to Point Reyes National Park in research of plants for a terrarium on Sunday. Plenty of mosses and damp areas to explore. The terrain changes to accommodate succulents on the sea cliffs. It was a longer hike than we expected... by a ......lot! We got to see the sunset over the Pacific ocean from Arch Rock on top of the treacherous cliff-side. After that, it was a dark and spooky walk back through the dead silent forest to the car. The park sign by the entry warning us of mountain lions set the mood and had us clinging to our flashlight and knife in case anything went down.
Ranger notice: If you see a mountain lion, make loud noises, get big and do not run away. Fight back if necessary! ROWR!!!
