“I’m yours” — submission — to creation, to death — continuation. #humpday

October 10, 2018

“I’m yours”— submission — to creation, to death — continuation.

To say ‘I’m yours’ is to give up control to something greater. I used it in one instance to carry an extremely fragile porcelain piece to the kiln. “I” was for “it”. To absorb all the shock from transport.

I have been enjoying this teapot so much! Came out beautifully! The white glaze is very satin and stoney. It's time to wrap it up.

I don’t care to know my neighbors.
Jun 12, 2020

I live in an “accessory dwelling unit” crammed into a backyard situated in the middle of everybody’s personal shit. There’s a stern matriarch to my left, living with her adult offspring and pets. Surrounded by hardy women, the only son is desperate for guy time. This 55-year-old lumbering carpenter’s attempts to befriend me were as fruitful as mounting a stranger in a bar. He asked if he could live in my garage — I imagined him jerking off in my studio space. No thank you…
